N.E.D. (1907) gives the non-naturalized pronunciation (mōtʃrɒ·s) /moːtʃˈrʌs/.

In South Asia: any of several types of gum resin obtained from tropical Asian trees; esp. that from the red silk-cotton tree, Bombax ceiba, used locally for medicinal purposes.
