Origin: A borrowing from Spanish. Etymon: Spanish molinete.
Etymology: < Spanish molinete (1590 in sense ‘small mill’) < molino (see mill n.1) + -ete , diminutive suffix (see -et suffix1).The specific use of the etymon is after the spinning movement of the matador in executing this pass.
Bullfighting.
A stylized pass in which the matador turns away in the direction opposite to that of the bull's charge.
