mounsn.

Forms: Middle English mons, Middle English mouns.
Origin: Apparently a borrowing from French. Etymons: French munz, mons.
Etymology: Apparently < Anglo-Norman munz (plural of munt mount n.1) and Old French, Middle French mons (plural of mont mount n.1), in specific use.Alternatively, it is possible that the word is merely a variant form of the plural of mount n.1 (compare sense 2 s.v.); however, the forms mons, mouns, are otherwise unattested.
