Origin: Formed within English, by compounding. Etymons: micro- comb. form, -odont comb. form.
Etymology: < micro- comb. form + -odont comb. form. Compare French microdonte (1868 in Littré). Compare macrodont adj.
Chiefly Physical Anthropology.
Having or characterized by relatively or abnormally small teeth; designating such a tooth.
