| 释义 |
micasizationn. Origin: Formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: micacize v., -ation suffix. Etymology: Irregularly < micacize v. + -ation suffix, perhaps with medial -s- in place of -c- to differentiate in writing between the pronunciation of the first -c- of micacize and the second. Compare slightly later micatization n., now the more usual term. Geology. rare. 1893 A. Geikie (ed. 3) 617 Micasization—the production of mica as a secondary mineral from felspars or other original constituents. 1923 20 145 This micasization of the felspars is not confined to the veins.
