1869 T. H. Huxley in Q. Jrnl. Geol. Soc. 26 44 I think it will be proper to restrict the name Palæosaurus to the latter (or Megalosauroid) form of tooth, and to use Thecodontosaurus for the former (or Scelidosauroid) type.
