A line proposed by the British under Sir Henry McMahon at the Simla Conference (1913–14) as the frontier between Tibet and Assam, running along the Himalayas from the eastern border of Bhutan to the Brahmaputra River.The demarcation was accepted by Tibet, but not recognized by China.
