Etymology: Either (i) < a- prefix1 + wearied adj., or (ii) an alteration of aweary adj., after -ed suffix1.
Tired, weary. Cf. aweary adj.Usually in predicative use.Now only as a deliberate archaism, e.g., in historical novels.
