1878 J. D. Dana Man. Mineral. & Lithol. (ed. 3) 136 Tetrahedrite, a kind containing 9 to 13 per cent of lead and 10 to 13 of silver, has been called Malinowskite.

However, the existence of this variety has not been established definitely, as the so-called ‘plumbian’ fahlore mineral was reported to be intimately associated with lead minerals.
