单词 macrognathous
释义

macrognathousadj.

Origin: Formed within English, by compounding. Etymons: macro- comb. form, -gnathous comb. form.
Etymology: < macro- comb. form + -gnathous comb. form. Compare scientific Latin macrognathus (as specific name in Arara macrognathus (1824), a kind of macaw), French macrognathe (1819 Lacépède). N.E.D.
