释义 | livermoriumn. A superheavy chemical element, atomic number 116, produced artificially by high-energy atomic collisions. Symbol Lv.Previously given the provisional name ununhexium (see un- comb. form), livermorium was first synthesized (at Dubna, Russia) in 2000, and the name was formally adopted by IUPAC in May 2012. The name moscovium had also been suggested. ΚΠ 2012 Chem. Internat. (IUPAC) Jan. 25/2 The discoverers proposed names as follows: flerovium and symbol, Fl, for the element with Z = 114 and livermorium with the symbol Lv for the element with Z = 116. 2014 New Scientist 12 July 41/2 Thanks to experiments to fabricate elements beyond uranium in the lab, the heaviest atom now officially recognised is livermorium (116).
