Etymology: < Koda- (in Kodak n.) + -chrome (Greek χρῶμα colour.
A proprietary name for: a method of colour photography used by Kodak Ltd. Also, a colour film manufactured by this method; a photograph or slide produced from a Kodachrome film. Also attributive.The spellings in quots. 1915, 1966 are erroneous.
