Etymology: < Aryanize v. + -ation suffix; compare -ization suffix. In sense 2 after German Arisierung (1933 (now historical); compare the discussion at Aryanize v.); with this sense compare slightly later Aryanized adj. 2.
1. The fact or process of coming under the cultural and linguistic influence or dominance of the prehistoric Aryan peoples; acculturation to or assimilation by the ancient Aryans.Now much less common than sense 2.
