释义 | isoflorn. A line (imaginary or on a map) linking areas containing equal numbers of plant species. ΚΠ 1944 S. A. Cain Found. Plant Geogr. xii. 163 Isoflors, lines delimiting regions with equal numbers of species (within the circle of affinity), can be drawn for the generic area as a whole. 1960 N. Polunin Introd. Plant Geogr. vii. 208 Sometimes a fair one [sc. indication of a centre of origin] may be given by isoflors, which are lines delimiting regions supporting equal numbers of species. 1963 P. H. Davis & V. H. Heywood Princ. Angiosperm Taxon. ix. 317 In the construction of isoflors, it is not the distribution of the individual species that is important, but only the number of species occurring together at any one point. In order to produce the isoflor map, a grid is drawn on the map and the number of taxa noted which occur in each quadrat.
