Etymology: < intrusion n. + -ist suffix.Previous versions of the OED give the stress as: inˈtrusionist.
One who practises or supports intrusion. During the controversy regarding the intrusion of ministers in the Established Church of Scotland, which resulted in the Disruption of 1843, applied by those who called themselves non-intrusionists to their opponents.
