Etymology: < classical Latin internectere internect v. + -ion suffix1. Compare earlier internex v. and slightly later internect v.Post-classical Latin internectio (13th cent.) and internexio (1512 or earlier) are both attested, but only in the sense ‘slaughter, destruction’ (compare internecion n.).
Obsolete. rare.
