A region consisting of the whole of Asia and the countries of the Pacific Rim (Pacific Rim n. at Pacific adj.2 and n.2 Compounds). Cf. Asian-Pacific n.The geographical area designated by this term is not very fixed, but generally includes East Asia, South Asia, South-East Asia, and Oceania.
