1941 G. S. Gorshkov in Compt. Rend. (Doklady) de l'Acad. des Sci. de l'URSS XXXIII. 255 The new mineral is an analogon of hydroboracite and has been named inderborite after the place of finding.
1967 E. L. Muetterties Chem. Boron & its Compounds iii. 188 The binary salt minerals, in the system CaO.MgO.B203.H20 (hydroboracite and inderborite) are probable derivatives of the colemanite-meyerhofferite trimer.
