Abstr. 21 541 When all of the B atoms are tervalent..the names should be ‘diboran’, ‘triboran’, ‘decaboran’, etc., for B2H4, B3H5, B10H12, etc. The names for the hydroborans [printed hydroborons] are illustrated by the following: B2H6 = dihydro-diboran, B5H9 = dihydro-pentaboran, B5H11 = tetrahydropentaboran, etc.
