High Court of Justice n. a supreme court of law; spec. (in England and Wales) the court of unlimited civil jurisdiction, comprising three divisions: Queen's (or King's) Bench, Chancery, and the Family Division.In the specific sense, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales was established in 1873 (see quot. 1873).
