Etymology: < the name of Jean Grolier de Servin, Vicomte d'Aiguisy (1479–1565), a famous French book-collector.
Used attributively to designate the interlacing geometrical designs which adorn the bindings of Grolier's books. Also absol.: a Grolier binding.
