/ˈɡriːnəm/, U.S. /ˈɡrinəm/ attributive, esp. in Greenham woman and variants: designating any of the women who established a women's peace camp (see peace camp n. 2) at Greenham Common in 1981 to protest against the deployment of nuclear weapons at the United States airbases there and elsewhere.
