In the traditional logic of categorical propositions: designating a variety of sorites (sorites n. 1a) in which the conclusion is formed of the subject of the last proposition and the predicate of the first (see quot. 1906). Contrasted with Aristotelian sorites n. at Aristotelean adj. and n. Additions. ΚΠ 1819 J. Richardson tr. I.
