Etymology: Origin uncertain. Perhaps related to gab v.3, gubber-tush n., and gag-tooth n., although the precise nature of any relationship is unclear.
Now chiefly historical.
A projecting front tooth.Apparently not recorded between the 17th and late 20th centuries.
