Etymology: < Arabicize v. + -ation suffix, originally after German Arabisirung (1860 in the passage translated in quot. 1884, or earlier; now Arabisierung ). Compare earlier Arabization n.
The action or process of making someone or something Arab or Arabic in character; the result of this.
