1861 Chem. News 23 Feb. 128/1 Walz has found..in the leaves of Globularia Alypum..tannin, yellow colouring-matter, an active principle, to which he gives the name Globularin, Globularetin, and Paraglobularetin. The globularin it seems is a glucoside, having the composition C₆₀H₄₄O₂₈.
