(a) a measured, estimated, or perceived temperature which may differ from an actual temperature for a variety of reasons; (b) (Meteorology) a measure of ambient temperature as it is subjectively experienced, which reflects wind chill, humidity, and other factors as well as the temperature recorded by a thermometer.
