Etymology: < angio- comb. form + sarcoma n., after German Angiosarkom (W. Waldeyer 1872, in Arch. f. pathol. Anat. u. Physiol. 55 134).
Pathology.
A type of malignant tumour originating (or believed to originate) in blood vessels.
