Medicine and Pathology.
Resembling a blood vessel; chiefly in angioid streak, a reddish, brown, or grey line in the fundus of the eye, resulting from degenerative changes in Bruch's membrane (a layer of the choroid) and often associated with systemic disorders such as Paget's disease of bone and various forms of anaemia.
