Serija geologičeskaja Jan. 6)] an iron-containing mineral, typically occurring as rust-brown aggregates of microscopic particles, which occurs widely in wet, iron-rich environments and is also present in the iron-storage protein ferritin.Ferrihydrite is a variably hydrated iron( iii) oxide/hydroxide, for which no single formula is widely accepted.
