释义 | fascinaden. Military. historical and rare after early 18th cent. Probably: a defensive structure composed of fascines (fascine n. 1a). Cf. fascinage n.Apparently only with reference to the Siege of Bouchain (1711), which took place under the command of the Duke of Marlborough during the War of the Spanish Succession (1700–14).
