Origin: A variant or alteration of another lexical item; modelled on Romance lexical items. Etymon: anarcho- comb. form.
Etymology: Alteration of anarcho- comb. form, by analogy with feminine nouns ending in -a in various Romance languages.
1. Forming nouns and adjectives with the sense ‘both anarchist and ——’ or ‘having anarchist values or characteristics’. Usually used to express a feminist perspective or context (see etymology), esp. (and earliest) in anarcha-feminist n. and adj., anarcha-feminism n.
