单词 | anallatic |
释义 | anallaticadj. Surveying. Of a surveying telescope: having an additional lens between the eyepiece and the object lens, positioned to enable the horizontal distance to be calculated from the slant distance without the need for a correcting factor; (of a lens) serving to make a telescope anallatic. ΚΠ 1888 Minutes Proc. Inst. Civil Engineers 91 286 The rays after passing through this third lens become parallel, whilst the sizes of objects subtending the same angle at the centre of ‘anallatism’, or unchangeableness, are proportional to their distance from that point. This point being placed in the vertical axis of the instrument, the telescope is rendered anallatic. 1911 Trans. Optical Soc. 13 217 To avoid the error from neglecting this factor, the so-called anallatic lenses are made. 1950 Brit.
