释义 | † epipedometryn. Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries. Explained in dictionaries as ‘The measurement of figures that stand on the same base’. Etymologically the word can only mean ‘measurement of plane surfaces’, though some French dictionaries explain épipédométrie as ‘measurement of solids’.
