单词 erer
释义

ereradj.adv.

Forms: adj. Old English ǽrra (m.), ǽrre (f. and n.), Middle English ærra, (Middle English erra, Middle English earre, eror, errure, Middle English erore); adv. Old English ǽror, ǽrur, (Middle English ærer, erur, arer, arure), Middle English–1500s Scottish erar(e, (Middle English errar), Middle English erer, (1500s earar).
Etymology: The Old English adjective ǽrra corresponds to Old High German êriro , Gothic airiza < Old Germanic *airizon- , < *airiz adverb: see ere n. The Old English adverb ǽror is a new formation after the analogy of adverb comparatives in -or ( < Old Germanic -ôz); the Old English ǽr ( < *airiz), owing to the loss of the suffix, not being distinctly shown by its form to be a comparative. Compare Old High German êror of similar formation.
