1. transitive. To write about (something) in an editorial; esp. to introduce editorial comments or express an opinion about (something) rather than simply reporting the news or giving the facts. Also with direct speech or that-clause as object: to write (a statement, an opinion, etc.) in an editorial, or in the manner of an editorial.
