Diodonn.
/ˈdʌɪədɒn/ Zoology.
A genus of globe-fishes, having the jaws tipped with enamel, forming a tooth-like tubercle in the centre of the beak above and below. The name has also been improperly given to a genus of South American falcons, and to the cetacean genus Ziphius.
