Origin: Either (i) a borrowing from Latin. Or (ii) a borrowing from Greek. Etymons: Latin dichorēus; Greek διχόρειος.
Etymology: < (i) classical Latin dichorēus, or its etymon (ii) Hellenistic Greek διχόρειος < δι- di- comb. form + χορεῖος (see choree n.).
