An optical contrivance consisting of two mirrors placed at an angle of 72°, so as to give four reflections of an object or figure placed between them and form composite figures for purposes of decorative design, etc. ΚΠ 1862 Timbs Year-bk. of Facts 144 M. Debus has invented this new form of kaleidoscope. The debusscope may be made of any size. c1865 J. Wylde Circle of Sci. I. 43/1 In the Debusscope, any object placed between the mirrors is multiplied, so as to present a fourfold appearance.
