1. Originally Horse Racing (later also Coursing and in greyhound racing). Of a race: open to competitors of all ages. Also of the animals eligible to take part in a race: of all ages. Cf. all-age adj. 1, all-ages adj. 1.Generally more common than all-age or all-ages in the same sense.
