A Peruvian climbing shrub Gonolobus Cundurango, the bark of which was introduced into therapeutic use in 1871. According to the Sydenham Society's Lexicon, ten or twelve different barks have been included under this name, the kind first used being that of Pseusmagennetus equatoriensis.
