1883 Rep. Director Mint on Precious Metals (U.S. Bureau of Mint) xi. 509 Prof. G. O. Koenig..analyzed some of such ore..and termed it Alaskite, in which the bismuth ran up to 21 per cent.

1927 Amer. Mineralogist 12 21 The alaskaite, which is an argentiferous variety of galeno-bismuthinite, was found in the Saxon mine.

1950 Amer. Mineralogist 35 457 Unless others can support the individuality of typical alaskaite from Colorado by microscopic and X-ray observations, the above notes must lead to the disqualification of this supposed species.
