1908 H. S. Ward Photogr. Ann. (ed. 4) 231 (Gloss.) Chemigraph, a patented method of printing half-tone blocks with successive inkings (usually of a different color inks), and with a slight displacement of register, which is exactly calculated to be equal to only a small proportion (10 to 20 per cent.) of the width of the dot. This gave unusual softness and richness, without apparent blur.
