释义 | centrobaricadj. 1. Of or relating to the centre of gravity. Chiefly in centrobaric method n. a method of calculating the area of a surface or the volume of a solid which is generated by a line or surface respectively (esp. by revolution about a fixed axis) having first determined the centre of gravity of that line or surface. Now rare. The centrobaric method is based on the fact that the product of the distance traversed by the centre of gravity of the generating line or surface and the length or area of that line or surface is equal to the surface area or volume of the body formed.
