Twenty-one candidates arrived at the presidential commission to meet yesterday's deadline for registering for elections next month.

The appointment has now been put on hold, pending the opinion of a presidential commission.

The court said it had dismissed the case because the presidential commission established to recover plundered funds had put forward weak evidence.

A presidential commission, however, reported three months later that 1,370 people were missing, 203 bodies had been recovered, and 941 passengers survived.

This presidential commission was tasked to conduct an investigation on the rebellion and the possible involvement of military and civilian officials and private persons.
