The ground floor extends out beyond the rest of the building to provide a base for the unique second story, which includes an open-air pavilion.

It has four other historic (nineteenth-century) buildings which have been moved onto the site, as well as four ancillary structures, including an open-air pavilion.

There were 6,700 seats in an open-air pavilion -- much of it under cover -- and room for another 13,300 people on general admission lawn seating.

The venue holds approximately 23,000 fans - 7,100 in a reserved seating open-air pavilion and an additional 16,000 on a general admission lawn.

The station consists of a covered, open-air pavilion built by the city in 1991.
