Export growth last month was up 4.9 per cent on the previous month, compared with a rise of 9.6 per cent in October.

There is also some evidence of an improvement in export growth, perhaps a benefit of the lower price of Sterling.

And UK manufacturing data signalled a worrying drop in export growth.
