In design terms it's a stroke of genius, but a new airline seating configuration, packing economy passengers head-to-toe, seems unlikely to catch on with the travelling public.

The optional 2-3-2 seating configuration was dropped in favor of the more conventional 2-2-3 and 2-3-3 seating configurations.
