daric|ˈdærɪk| Also 6–7 daricke, dari(c)que, 7–9 darick. [ad. Gr. Δᾱρεικ-ός (properly and adj. agreeing with στατήρ stater).] A gold coin of ancient Persia, said to have been named from the first Darius. Also a Persian silver coin of the same design, specifically called siglos.
