‖ dansant|dɑ̃sɑ̃| fem. dansante |dɑ̃sɑ̃t|, a. [Fr., pr. pple. of danser to dance.] Accompanied by dancing, as in thé dansant (erron. -ante), an afternoon entertainment at which there is dancing and tea is served; soirée dansante, an evening party with dancing.
